On Sunday, my grandmother made lunch for everyone (fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, sweet potatoes, pea salad, pink fluff, and left over corn casserole). It was very yummy. After lunch, my cousin Sheila, her husband, William and I all went for a walk to the city lake. Wow, I haven't walked to the lake in about 7 years. It was tiring, but fun. We saw lots of things that they don't get to see in Florida. I remember Sheila making the comment, "Wow, look Bob! A red breasted Robin. We don't get to see those in Florida." It got me to thinking how different our areas really are.
On Monday, it was back to work for me, but my grandma got to spend another day with her sister. I know this was much needed for her. Monday evening, we were invited to go out to dinner one last time before they went back to Florida. We all went to Red Lobster. This seemed funny to me because they come from Florida where they can get all the seafood they want, but apparently it was my grandma's choice. She loves their crunch fried fish. After dinner, we all said good bye and they went back to Boonville to get ready for their journey home. I miss them already! =( Hopefully, it won't be so long until we see each other again.
The rest of the time at work, we were preparing to give a carnival to the children for "week of the young child." The carnival was Thursday. It wasn't as successful as they had hoped, but I think it was successful enough that they are going to do it again in the fall for back to school. Yippee (UGH!)
Well, there you have the post of a whole lot of happenings. I will leave you with one last picture until I can get some pics off my camera.
Here is William's first "School" picture. He was 8 months here.

Tuesday is his 9 month doctor's appointment. Will update with new stats then.
