Pumpkin patch adventure

Today we went to a local Farm Market to have some fun. We went with my mom, my mom's boyfriend, my brother, and of course, Jason, William, and myself. We had a lot of fun. William dressed up in his spiderman costume because the people who hosted the event said the kids could dress up. He was only one of maybe a handful who dressed up, but he didn't want to change. We ate hot dogs, went for a hay ride, picked out a pumpkin, enjoyed a corn maze, and William played in a straw maze, too! It was tons of fun. Here are some pics for your enjoyment.

A family photo! This never happens.

They had some guttering and water pumps set up so the kids could have rubber duck races. William liked doing this. He only got a little wet.

William really enjoyed running through the straw maze that they had set up.

More running through the straw maze. He made it to the bell in the middle on the first try without trying to climb over the wall.

Our cute little spiderman.

I love this picture. William was so proud of himself that he took Uncle Richard's hat off of his head. He grinned from ear to ear.

William holding a big pumpkin. I don't think it is the one that we ended up getting though.

William among a pile of pumpkins. We went to the you pick pumpkin patch. I didn't realize that meant you simply pick out which one you want. We didn't actually "pick" the pumpkin. They apparently go through the patch and cut the ripe pumpkins off the vine before taking anybody to the patch.

They had this sign there for kids to have their pictures taken with. I think if we go back every year it will be neat to see how much he grows from year to year using this sign.
