1 Week

I can't believe how fast time is flying by. William is already a week old!

William is doing great. His jaundice is much better. He only had to be on the bili blanket for a day and a half. Wednesday his count was 12.9 and Thursday his count was down to 6 something. He is doing great! The doctor says he shouldn't have to repeat the bili blanket unless for some reason he starts to look jaundice again. Woohoo!

William is doing great at night. For the most part, he sleeps most of the night. The only time he wakes is if he is stinky or hungry. I have actually had to wake him up a few times now to be sure he eats on time. Yay! I hope this continues to be this way.

I went to the doctor today to get the stitch removed from my c-section incision. The doc said it shouldn't hurt, but I can tell you it didn't just feel funny like she said it should. It did kinda hurt a little. She says it looks good though. Everything is healing up nicely. She reminded me that I need to still take it easy. Even though I may be starting to feel better, I need to be sure that I am not over doing anything.

William went on a trip to his first store today. Best Buy. His daddy was very proud of that. He wanted to be sure to show him the best store (in daddy's opinion) in the world.

That's an encouraging sign that he's already sleeping well at night and that you are often having to wake him. D was like that and he was sleeping throught he night at 9 weeks!
